Бесит, когда Локи не любят только потому, что он, видите ли, образом не совпал с прототипом из мифов. В чем проблема? Просто не смешивайте этих двух персонажей.

Luxury latest: New hotels at home and abroad
New Mallorca Hotel Park Hyatt
The timing of the opening of a top-notch new Park Hyatt hotel in Mallorca couldn’t be better, especially as so many of us were captivated by the island in the gripping BBC1 adaptation of John Le Carré’s The Night Manager.
Open from June 1, the hotel can’t promise Tom Hiddleston, but it can guarantee world-class dining and views of the Canyamel valley, which we’re assured are the next best thing.

A great weakness of mine is that, when people tell me I can’t do something, it’s a red rag to a bull; it makes me want to do it even more …” Hiddleston explains.
Какой-то у Тома взгляд грустный.
Автор статьи видимо пытается острить, но ни ума, ни чувства юмора не хватает.
Also, go see this movie on Friday or whenever you can. It’s amazing, and not just Tom’s performance [which was just masterful, every minute of it.] It was stunning and gut-wrenching and visually gripping. You can hear the dedication and devotion Tom and Marc have for the film in the Q&A, which only enhanced the showing for me.

Hiddleston shines, but Hank Williams biopic lacks heart
A biopic cannot survive if it depends solely on a great lead performance like Hiddleston’s.
While Hiddleston exhibits Williams’ heartfelt voice and charismatic grin — even going the extra mile by doing his own singing — the film never gives him the proper stage to let him yodel his way to victory.

И, судя по саундтреку к "Свету", музыку тоже переработали. Вот поэтому и звучание совсем иное-потому что не только голос, но и аранжировка полностью иная.

With a voice about an octave lower than Williams’ and avoiding the hard twang, Hiddleston’s musical performances are the arguable highlight in the film. His uncanny physical resemblance to Williams is an added bonus, further enhancing his believability factor.
Williams is an acknowledged musical pioneer and — like it or not — is the kind of tragic figure that makes for rich dramatic characterization, which Hiddleston delivers in spades.

Because for a movie about a musician, this film sure is light on music. This is another odd choice, because as Hank, Tom Hiddleston is better than I thought he would be. The movie shakes out of its lifelessness whenever he sings, so why are these moments so few and far between? Similarly, Elizabeth Olsen carries herself just as well as Hiddleston, but it’s a pity she’s not given better material than this. Both of them, along with the supporting cast, are much better than the movie deserves. There’s a good cast and maybe a good movie buried somewhere in here, but during the soporific two hours this film runs, you’d be hard-pressed to find the latter.

If you’ve always thought, as I have, that Tom Hiddleston was such a good actor he could salvage any movie, well, welcome to “I Saw the Light.”
In actual practice, this movie is a mess.
That’s no fault of Hiddleston. There was some controversy when Hiddleston, who is British, was cast as the countrified Williams, an Alabama native who sounded every bit of it. Um, it’s called acting. When Hiddleston plays Loki in the “Avengers” movies no one complains that he’s not from Asgard (no one outside of ComiCon at least).
Hiddleston also plays and sings all the songs. That’s a riskier move; Williams’ distinctive whine and yodel would be difficult to replicate. Wisely, Hiddleston doesn’t try to mimic Williams. He sings the song as his version of Hank would. It’s interesting for anyone familiar with the originals. One hates to think, however, that this is the only introduction some will get to Williams’ versions.
Well, if Tom Hiddleston began tweeting endless photos of himself topless & flicking the bird, would everyone find it 'empowering' or tragic?

BYT Interviews: Tom Hiddleston & Marc Abraham talk “I Saw The Light”
brightestyoungthings.com/articles/byt-interview...
Interviewing Tom Hiddleston in person is the best and the worst for all the obvious reasons.
You tell everyone you’re doing it and everyone you tell you’re doing it (and you DO tell everyone, because, come on, you get to interview Tom Hiddleston in person, what are you gonna do at that point, NOT tell everyone?) has so many opinions about what you and Tom Hiddleston should talk about. Namely: Marvel, Colbert sing-alongs, whether or not he would marry them sight unseen, some other things, but especially that third one.
Having said that, I am also happy to report that in person Tom Hiddleston is as tall and handsome and perfectly accented and gregarious as you think/hope he would be and he laughs a lot and wears a lot of navy.
What was Tom’s favorite song to perform?
It probably WAS “Lovesick Blues,” because it was so hard and conquering it felt so good as a result, but he just loved performing in general. They both recall one particularly, “ball-bustingly cold” day in Shreveport, where Hiddleston was wearing nothing but a thin white fringe suit and he just wouldn’t stop singing.
