Greg Middleton: “She’s Tywin. In a weird way, Tywin would be proud. He was so good at manipulating both his kids.”
Jeremy Podeswa: “Something does prevent her from actually killing him. You know, there’s still something in there. But she’s ready to see him go. And we wanted very much to end with her on the map. She’s letting him go and she’s left with nothing. The map was an image that David and Dan wanted very much, just having her on the map at the end. And having her… even if she gets it, what is it for?”
Greg Middleton: “That’s the fascinating thing about giving characters goals, especially in this show… will that make them happy? When they get what they want… is it really what is good for them? Is it going to be good for the long-term? You know, when you’ve spent your whole life on a journey chasing something and when you get it, are you fulfilled or you just loved the chasing?”

Я что-то не заметила, что бы он рвался мстить за свою девочку, тем более он знал кто повинен в её смерти. Про Томмена вообще молчу.
Более того, после смерти Мирцеллы, он уверял Серсею, что только они важны в целом мире, когда еще был жив Томмен. А потом после взрыва одна фраза, хотя Серсея вела себя как психопатка с ее "Томмен меня предал".
